ABOUT US
Who We Are
Captain Todd Hnis, owner of Brewster Custom Boats and Fishy Biz-Hnis (commercial lobster fishery), is a graduate of Mass Maritime Academy and has worked for years in Marine Transportation operating tug and barges. He started repairing boats and learning about fiberglass in his teens, until ultimately deciding to leave his career and pursue his dream - making cool boats cooler. Since his first day in business he has provided high quality repair services to local residents in the Cape Cod area and all over East Coast. Inspired by the disappointing quality of readily available production boats, he found a nitch refitting boats to suit the demands of people who spend more time on the water than on land. Equipped with years of experience on our back, we’ll happily fix or breathe new life into whatever you bring into our shop.

Making Boats Cooler
Raising decks, O/I to outboard conversions, center console/pilothouse conversions, add/remove seating, gunwale reinforcement for tuna hero's and more. You dream it, we can do it.
REPAIRS
A Wide Range of Repair Services
Rotten plywood? BCB offers re-coring for caps, hatch covers, transoms, hardtops, etc. Adding/removing thru-hulls, transducers, etc. Gel-coat, dings, chips, holes, cracks. Fiberglass repairs are not just limited to boats, can fix campers, jet-skis, fiberglass bulkheads, bath tubs and showers. After all, a bathtub is just a boat with water on the other side.
